What you need is sugar in its purest form – not sugar that is restructured chemically to be faster to make and cheaper to sell.
YES! Most of the cheap foods that you like to snack on such as: cheetos, candy bars, cereals, drinks, sodas, flavorings ice cream, etc all have that sugar.
Unfortunately, these simple sugars are addictive. I’m not going to get into detail of how more than likely it was done on purpose, but the main issue is that there is NO nutritional value in it whatsoever. This is why the body craves more.
So how do you find it? Well, here’s a few terms to look for in the ingredients:
fructose, glucose, monosaccharides, lactose, maltose, high fructose corn syrup, and sucrose…just to name a few.
Now, sugar doesn’t always mean something bad, however the type of sugar that the body needs are the sugars that come in fruits and veggies. Yes, they are still sugar, but the difference is that these sugars are natural and they also come with nutrients!
Just remember, read those labels!
