I think this is the start of something…

Happy Saturday everyone! We went to Zach Brown last night and  didn’t get home until really late. I didn’t really feel like going to the gym, so I randomly decided to workout in the garage today and I really dig it. I made this workout up as I went along.

10 rounds of 60 second jump rope (some double-unders included) with a 30 second rest

10 rounds of 60 second kettle bell with a 30 second rest

3 sets of 10 – 25# dumbbell with a wide stance

All I can say is a lot of 40# sand bag squats

3 sets of 12 – 25# dumbbell deadlifts

3 sets of 10 – a makeshift ab workout using Mike’s mechanic’s creeper cart that actually worked (click here to see a creeper cart, I couldn’t believe that it worked for this workout). I firmly planted my arms and rolled my knees up towards my hands.

There was no rhyme or reason to this other than I knew I wanted cardio and to work my glutes; this was actually an awesome change up from the usual gym workout routine.

Needless to say, I enjoyed working out in my garage and we are probably going to buy some equipment. I loved how I could take my time and I felt like I could really push myself.

Cheers to the weekend!
